Welcome to my blog

From the age of 9 until I turned 18, I was in foster care. Back then, I often searched the internet hoping to find blogs or stories from people like me — someone who understood what it felt like to be in care. But I hardly found anything.

What I really needed was a space where I could hear from other foster kids, feel less alone, and maybe even ask for advice. I didn’t find that — so I’ve decided to create it.

This blog isn’t written by a professional. I’m just someone who’s been through the system, and I want to share my experience in case it helps even one person reading this.

If you’re in care right now — confused, angry, lonely, or just trying to figure things out — this space is for you. Being moved into a new environment, away from your family and everything familiar, is incredibly hard. I get it.

You’re not alone here.
